In 2006, Neda Afshar, daughter of Aquaswiss Watch Co. owner Ian Afshar, decided to come out from her father's shadow and begin her own collection of high fashion watches. After working for Aquaswiss designing and manufacturing for many years she began working on new contemporary watch designs that featured Swiss made movements and high quality diamonds. Realizing this line was a little too fashion forward for Aquaswiss she began working on a line of her own. She called the line DEDIA.
